Travelish.com ("Travelish," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (together, the "Platform").
By using Travelish, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two main ways:
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information – Your email address and password when you create an account, and a profile photo if you choose to add one.
- Trip Details – What you tell Travelish AI about your trip, your searches (routes, dates, travellers and places), the flights, hotels and cars you save, and preferences such as your home city, currency and language.
- Voice Input – If you dictate a message, the recording is used only to turn it into text and is not stored; only the text you send is kept.
- Images – Images you attach to a message are stored with that conversation.
- Feedback – Ratings, comments and voice notes you leave on an answer. Before you record a voice note, we show a consent notice.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage Data – Pages you visit, features you use, and how the Platform performs.
- Device & Technical Data – IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Location Data – On the website, we derive your approximate location (country) from your IP address to set your market, currency and a default departure city. In the mobile app, if you allow location access, we use your device's approximate position to suggest the nearest departure city; the coordinates are not stored.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Platform's features.
- Understand your travel requests and personalize the assistant's answers, searches and recommendations.
- Communicate with you about your account, such as email confirmation and password reset.
- Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activity.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. AI-Generated Recommendations
The assistant's answers and recommendations are generated using AI models and travel data from our partners. They are for informational purposes only and may not reflect real-time availability, prices, or conditions. The final price and booking conditions are confirmed by the airline, travel agency, hotel or car-rental provider you choose.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service Providers – Hosting and infrastructure, database and authentication, AI model and speech-to-text providers, and app analytics. They process data on our behalf to run the Platform.
- Travel Partners – Flight, hotel and car options come from our travel data partners. When you choose an option, you continue to the airline, travel agency, hotel or car-rental provider to book; we record that click for attribution and to improve the service, and that provider's privacy policy applies from then on.
- Partner Applications – Travelish AI may also be offered inside partner applications. The partner's own privacy policy covers that application.
- Legal Authorities – When required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, to keep your conversations with you before you sign in (a guest session cookie that expires after 30 days), to remember your preferences, and to measure how the Platform performs.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies or pixels on the website. The mobile app uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used.
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.
6. Data Retention
- Conversations, searches and saved items are kept while you have an account. You can delete individual conversations, and you can delete your account at any time from Settings, which deletes your conversations, searches, saved items, feedback and recordings.
- Guest sessions expire after 30 days.
- Voice notes left as feedback are deleted after 90 days.
- Live search results are cleared about 15 minutes after a search.
We may keep information longer where required by law.
7. Data Security
We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
8. Your Privacy Rights
8.1 GDPR (EU/EEA Users)
You have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Request data portability.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

8.2 CCPA (California Users)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
- Request deletion of their personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" of personal data (we do not sell your personal data).
9. International Data Transfers
Your data is stored in the United Kingdom and the European Union, where our hosting and database providers operate. Some service providers, such as AI model and speech-to-text providers, process data in the United States or other countries. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or booking services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services, and we are not responsible for their practices. Please review their privacy policies.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Platform.
